Tailgating

Tailgating before and after UCF Knight Football games at Bright House Networks Stadium offers a special time for reunions of family, friends and alumni, and the university is pleased to serve as host to these gatherings. Additionally, UCF is pleased to welcome all of our guests to campus. In order to ensure that everyone has a safe and memorable game day experience, we expect all fans to celebrate responsibly and adhere to the following guidelines while on campus:

    A. Parking
  • For weekend games (Saturday or Sunday), campus parking lots and garages will be open from 7:00 AM until two hours following the conclusion of the game or midnight (whichever comes first) at which time all parking areas shall be cleared. For weekday games, campus parking lots and garages will open for game day parking at 1:00 PM until two hours following the conclusion of the game or midnight (whichever comes first) at which time all parking areas shall be cleared.
  • Parking is authorized only in designated surface parking lots and parking garages. Parking is not authorized along campus roadways, in residential housing parking lots or garages, or on open grassy areas throughout campus. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at owner's expense.
  • Campers and trailer grills are restricted to RV-designated parking areas. RV vehicles are required to have an upwards exhaust vent attachment on all vehicles upon entry.
  • B. Tailgating Activities

Tailgating activities (without vehicles) are also permitted on most other areas on campus, with primary locations including Memory Mall, Lake Claire, and Colburn Lawn. Fans are reminded that vehicle parking is not authorized along campus roadways, in residential housing parking lots or garages, or on any open grassy areas throughout campus.
  • The sale, service, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages shall comply with state and federal laws. However, city and county ordinances shall not be applicable or enforced from 9:00 AM until game half-time, thereby permitting alcoholic beverages in open or unsealed containers during these authorized hours only. No public sale of alcohol is authorized on campus (except in permanent dining establishments).
  • Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited by persons younger than 21 years of age. Anyone consuming alcohol must be prepared to show proof that he or she is 21 years or older.
  • Kegs, beer funnels and glass containers are not authorized on campus.
  • No alcohol is authorized inside the stadium (except in stadium suites and the club lounge).
  • C. Conduct

  • Controlled substances: The unlawful possession, distribution or use of any drug or controlled substance is prohibited on the UCF campus. Violators of this policy shall be subject to the full measure of state and federal laws, city and county ordinances and university disciplinary action.
