Spring 2008 Auditions
Tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, April 12th from 1-6pm and Sunday April 13th from 1-6pm. You must attend both days of the audition and be present the entire time. Please call or e-mail in advance to ensure you are on the list of applicants. lgooch@athletics.ucf.edu or 407.823.2143.
Fall 2008 Auditions
A tryout will only be held in the fall if positions become available. Please contact the Spirit Office with information on this possibility.
How to Prepare
First and foremost get your application in to the university as soon as possible to insure that you are accepted to attend school here.
Please bring with you:
- Copy of your UCF I.D. or acceptance letter
- Copy of your Medical Insurance Card
- Tryout Packet (See below)
No previous experience is required. We will guide/ teach/ coach you thru each section of the audition. Knightro is a cool guy. He is fun loving, tough, very dependable but a little bit crazy too. We are looking for someone that can put the costume on and "become" the Man of Gold". Each prospective mascot will be evaluated on the following:
- Projection and Showmanship
- Character Development
- Skit Idea
- Interview
