Spring 2009 Auditions for the 2009-10 School Year
Knightro Tryouts are scheduled for Friday, April 17th from 5-6pm and Saturday, April 18th 8am - 6pm. The meeting place will be the Burnett Honors College lobby.

On Friday, all paperwork will be collected and a general overview of the program will be given. There will be a time for question and answer as this is an informational meeting. You must attend both days of the audition and be present the entire time. Please call or e-mail in advance to ensure you are on the list of applicants. spirit@athletics.ucf.edu or 407.823.2143.

What if you don't know much about being a mascot and you are not ready to commit?
We recommend that you attend the Friday informational meeting on April 17th. You will have an opportunity to learn about the program. We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

You should also feel free to contact our mascot Coach Mike Callahan (mtcallah@mail.ucf.edu) with questions prior to the meeting on April 17th from 5-6pm.

Fall 2009 Auditions
There are currently no plans to hold a Fall audition. Fall auditions are only held if positions open up over the summer. You can contact the Spirit Office in late July to inquire.

How to Prepare
First and foremost get your application in to the university as soon as possible to insure that you are accepted to attend school here. Please bring with you:

• Copy of your UCF I.D. or acceptance letter
• Copy of your Medical Insurance Card

What Skills are Evaluated?
No previous experience is required. We will guide/ teach/ coach you thru each section of the audition. Knightro is a cool guy. He is fun loving, tough, very dependable but a little bit crazy too. We are looking for someone that can put the costume on and "become" the "Man of Gold". Each prospective mascot will be evaluated on the following:

• Projection and Showmanship
• Character Development
• Skit Idea
• Interview
