Prior to UCF... Competed at the University of Tennessee during his freshman year...graduated from Cypress Bay High School, where he lettered all four years in both cross country and track...qualified for the state championship in 2002, helping his CBHS team to a state runner-up finish...an all-state honoree in both the mile and two-mile...named Broward Country Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2005...twice earned all-county honors...track squad won the district championship in 2003, 2005 and 2006...received the All-State Sports Journalism Feature Award for broadcasting as presented by the Florida Scholastic Press Association. |
