• With 30 points in the victory, Jermaine Taylor surpassed Dan Faison and Pat Crocklin for seventh place on the UCF career points list. Taylor now has 1,306 points.
• The Knights were hosting USF for the first time since Jan. 29, 2002.
• The contest marked the second-consecutive season that UCF welcomed a BIG EAST program to Orlando. Last December, the Knights hosted Connecticut.
Tony Davis scored a career-high 17 points in tonight's contest.
• Taylor dropped in 12 field goals in the victory over the Bulls, which moves him into 10th on the school all-time career field goals list ahead of former Knight Josh Peppers.
• Collecting two swats in the contest against USF, Davis moved into 10th on the UCF career blocks list with 56.
• Tonight's loss marks the second-consecutive defeat to a Conference USA squad for the Bulls. USF lost to host UAB Wednesday, 78-77.
A.J. Rompza recorded a career-high eight assists in the Knights' victory. This marks the third time that the freshman has recorded five or more assists in a game this season.
• Davis collected six steals in the win, which is a career-high for the junior. The six steals were the most by a UCF player this season.
• The 30 points scored by Taylor were the most by a UCF player in 2008-09. Taylor opened the season with a 28-point output against North Carolina A&T on Nov. 16 in Orlando.
• UCF tied a season-high with 21 forced turnovers, including 15 forced in the second half. The Knights scored 24 points off of USF turnovers.
• The Knights had a 14-0 run that started with the Black and Gold trailing 28-19 with 4:05 left in the first half, and ended with UCF leading 33-28 at the 17:51 mark of the second half.
